In March, 2020, life as we knew it came to a screeching halt.  Shelter in place mandates went into effect, and work from home / school from home processes went into effect. Restaurants, businesses, corporations all shutting down – including my gym.  At first, we all tried to figure out what we were going to do – which included figuring out a work-out routine.  And with health clubs all closed with no immediate reopening in sight, I had to make a decision.  Either I just “let myself go”, or I take this unique time on my life to refocus on my health – which included diet and exercise specifically designed to my situation, resources, age, and goals.  So I turned to my network and asked, “Is there someone out there that can help me achieve my goals and get me in the best shape of my life while navigating this Covid-19 lock down era?  My network came back with Ryan Svenby, and man am I lucky to have met Ryan.

 Our journey started 4 months ago with an IPhone, some dumbbells, and a pull-up bar. Ryan was able to design a weekly workout routine specifically designed to fit my goals, and utilize the equipment I have in my basement.  Since working out with Ryan, I am back to my ideal weight, my strength has increased significantly, and I can physically see the improvements month after month.   Needless to say I am extremely happy with my results, and I look forward to continued gains as we continue our partnership.

 Ryan has also been instrumental with my understanding of proper nutrition – which my entire family has benefited from.  We are eating more whole foods and eating better protein sources, which has reduced inflammation, added lean muscle, and increased energy.
